ultraelectromagneticblog: July 2005
http://ultraelectromagneticblog.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 31, 2005. Picked up a couple of new (used) books over the weekend, a hardbound copy of Dave Eggers' A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius. And Douglas Coupland's debut novel Generation X. Which looked like one of those software manuals from the '80s. Got both books for only Php650 off Avalon.ph. Ayos na ayos na! I decided to skip Genius. For the meantime, although I did peek at the first parts of the book, where Eggers (hilariously) discusses his book and its merits:. Overnight. It's...

Progamer to Programmer: June 2005
http://programmingprogamer.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 03, 2005. Contest has been announced. It used to be an event that I was looking forward to - why didn't they put this out a few years ago? Seeing this again brings back memories. I still remember the time when we participated in the first one. Maybe their presence would have made a difference. We divided our sleeping schedule such that there would always be someone chugging away at the computers. The team consisted of myself, Jae. Aidz, and Marseille ( Nikki. This "craziness" carried over to...

Progamer to Programmer: April 2005
http://programmingprogamer.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 20, 2005. Had a splashing good time last Saturday. Never thought it would be so much fun away from the computer monitor. :P It was enjoyable to be buffetted around by the waves, and it was fun pretending to be a water wheel. The rides were also good, if only they weren't so short. I wanted to do the more-than-1-person-to-a-rubber-tube ride, but it never crossed anyone else's mind so. You know what's scary about it? Yeah, check out Po's blogger name and see. ;). Lunch was chicken from Rog...

Progamer to Programmer: The Arc in the Sky
http://programmingprogamer.blogspot.com/2008/01/arc-in-sky.html
Saturday, January 12, 2008. The Arc in the Sky. Now I regret not choosing to get a camera (phone or digital). The ability to take [and show] pictures on demand means that more stories can be told, and the experience gained from having richer conversations may well be worth the price of one camera. Gizmos & Gadgets. Diablo is Slowly Taking Over Me. On May 25, 2012 · Leave a Comment. I am not talking about evil spirits or anything near that. I’m referring to my long time favorite PC game, Diablo by Blizzard Entertainment who just launched it’s third iteration of the popular game. Night after night, I have been finding myself playing the game. I also play around half an hour before … Continue reading →. Filed under Gizmos & Gadgets. Middot; Tagged with diablo 3. Windows 8 Release Preview. On May 16, 2012 · Leave a Comment. I was having trouble with my current Windows 7 because of some graphics card utility called Catalyst (curse you ATI! And so came an idea to dual boot Windows 8. This way I get to keep Windows 7 and all my applications, and at the same time I get to experiment on Windows 8 and have my whole screen again! So what do I think of Windows 8 so far? Windows 8 after installation. Middot; Tagged with os. ICS, What’s Taking You So Long! You are commenti...

Coder's Compass: November 2004
http://coderscompass.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 24, 2004. Casting the First Stone. My mother is on a constant spiritual quest. It would seem she is on a personal mission to find the best church where she can worship God the best possible way, with the best possible people. Right now, with New Life, I think she may have found that church. There are two things that strike me, though. Posted by ET @ 6:31 AM. Monday, November 22, 2004. Faith (and Ache) of the Heart. There was a time, I think a few months back, when I pondered on the sl...

Progamer to Programmer: The Little Prince
http://programmingprogamer.blogspot.com/2007/11/little-prince.html
Saturday, November 17, 2007. The 2007 Komikon was held yesterday. I wasn't able to attend, but this event reminds me of several stories from the previous Komikons. I remember 3 years back, when my Skewed. Chummers were working on their own independent comic. They were rushing to get everything printed and stapled, so they could sell it (at minimal profit) at the convention. I thought to myself, "Wow, these guys are COOL! In which he realizes that his rose is special after all. I'll definitely keep an eye...

Progamer to Programmer: Hair
http://programmingprogamer.blogspot.com/2007/10/hair.html
Monday, October 29, 2007. A girl I met along the street lightly touched my hair and said " Ang ganda ng buhok mo a! I didn't really know what to say, so I just smiled back and continued walking. A bit freaky. Although it still felt good. What if she's someone I'm supposed to know? Posted by Celedor at 8:28 PM. Jam: It's also likely that they were just playing some sort of game/trick on me. hehe. Han: Reminds me of a conversation we had sometime back, eh? View my complete profile.
