The Dancing Bear Guest Cottage. Here are some things to do while staying in the Cottage. Golf at the "Resort at the Mountain" course. Hiking on many trails for all skill and ability levels in the Mt Hood wilderness area. Great restaurants (and some not so great - but still good). Summer Skiing and snowboarding at Timberline on Mt. Hood. Winter skiing and snowboarding at several ski resorts. Mountain climbing on nearby Cascade mountain volcanoes. Fishing - catch and release fly fishing during season.

In the foothills of the Cascade mountains of northern Oregon there is a small rain forest valley that is home to the Villages at Mount Hood. At the end of the road near the village of Welches is our home, Salmonberry Springs, and our Dancing Bear guest cottage. The cottage has one bedroom, a kitchen, bathroom and living room looking out over a duck pond and the parklike setting of Salmonberry Springs. The cottage is a wonderful place to relax or explore the activities around Mt Hood.
