Her kan du lære om en av Norges viktigste næringer, havbruksnæringen, med fokus på lakseoppdrett. Vi kan blant annet tilby guidet rundtur for grupper fra rogn til bord, interaktive informasjonsskjermer, samt living wall og living floor. Havbruksnæringen finansierer forskning innenfor en rekke områder, slik som fiskehelse, fiskefôr, bærekraft, redskaper og utstyr.

Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre
Trout Fishing and Tours of Hatchery. Watch this short video on Utube. The Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre (MSCC) is the oldest operating Atlantic salmon hatchery in Canada. Located in South Esk, New Brunswick, the facility is only 5km west of the City of Miramichi. The first buildings and ponds were constructed in 1873 and Atlantic salmon eggs were collected for incubation that year.
