We also got a lot done on the exterior of our house - a new roof, new siding on the gables, shutters, and just recently a new porch cover in the back. We wanted to go somewhere where we had never been before. We also wanted to be far enough away where there wouldn't be alot of people. So we found this campground which was two hours away. Sunday, June 14, 2009. So Sam took the older girls fishing one morning and they had a blast - they didn't catch a thing but that was okay. They got doughnuts and time by themselves with Daddy. Kaylee also got a huge scrape on her cheek when she fell on a rock there and it's finally healing. Ginger got bit by mosquitos around her eye on our Martin's cove trek and it was so swollen! Chuck, Angie, Lindsey, and Ryland. Friday, June 26, 2009. We recently went on a family vacation to Jackson and Yellowstone. We spent 3 days in Jackson and 3 days in Montana/Yellowstone. It was wonderful to spend time together and to be able to enjoy nature - rain and all! We left Thursday, June 18th, as early as we were able to manage. Chuck's truck was filled to overflowing! I'm just glad we didn't lose anything on the way there or back! Our cabin - we loved the porch swing! He cooked every meal for us!

Graduation from the crib.finally! Gage slept in his big boy bed for the first time last night! Which I did and then left the room. He complained briefly and went to sleep. Hurray! And never left his bed until we came in. We are very happy it went so well. The picture above is from nap time today - the second time in the big bed. It went even better! Chuck, Angie, Lindsey, and Ryland. Saturday, May 30, 2009. One of the best things about Summer is biking! Last week Chuck, Lindsey, and Ryland rode the trail in Eagle Mountain from our house all the way to the Chevron gas station in the Ranches and back! That's 12 miles round trip! Chuck, Lindsey, and Ryland at the Chevron gas station in the Ranches. Ryland got a medal for completing it! He crashed on the way home and scraped up his face by his right eye pretty badly. Poor kid!
