Monday, October 14, 2013. These are two of the four bookcases I painted earlier this summer. The were a golden oak color before. I definitely prefer the lighter color at this point in decorating. They look great in our basement and Big Mister loves having his books on display again. I’m glad I took the time to paint them. Thursday, March 8, 2012. I can't tell you how awesome Wicked was! Emma and I had a great mommy-daughter night, thoroughly enjoying the music and story of Wicked. There were a few parts of the plot we hadn't figured out from listening to the CD, and I'm so glad we left some element of surprise. We both want to go again! Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Can't sleep. So excited to see Wicked tomorrow night that I can't shut my mind off! Which means I'll probably be asleep in my seat at Gammage before Elphie defies gravity. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. I am not even kidding you. Have you ever felt like you were on one of those candid camera shows? I'm walking down the aisle at the grocery store today and saw something that first made me think I was being caught on camera to see what my reaction was, and then made me wish I had a better camera on my phone. Friday, November 15, 2013. Last week I had oral surgery. My mouth should be in the Guinness Book of World Records! I actually had a dentist tell me that long ago because I have such strange things going on with my bones, gum, teeth, etc. I couldn't take it anymore so I took my magnifying mirror and tiny scissors and cut all the knots off and pulled them right out. Yep! Sure did. There was immediate relief and I felt so much better. To the surgeon, "yep, the stitches dissolved just fine, no problems".
