http://sandie-says.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-hope.html
Thursday, January 22, 2009. In the last week I've seen references to Martin Luther King Jr., Lincoln, FDR, Johnson, and finally, today, Woodstock to describe the inauguration of our first black president. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sandie Says: Relationship Lexicons
http://sandie-says.blogspot.com/2009/02/relationship-lexicons.html
Saturday, February 14, 2009. Talking to my valentine today I realized how much of the language we were speaking to each other was personal. Our lexicon is a creation of our combined history. No one else would necessarily understand what it means. It's like a secret joke but not always intended to be funny. Today I appreciate all of my lexicons (and the relationships that go with them). Cup full. Example, I can hear you say Super-Fun in my head when I read it on the page. LOL! March 26, 2009 at 4:56 PM.

Sandie Says: Fluffy Powdery Goodness Christmas
http://sandie-says.blogspot.com/2008/12/fluffy-powdery-goodness-christmas.html
Saturday, December 27, 2008. Fluffy Powdery Goodness Christmas. We've moved beyond your typical white Christmas and into fluffy powerdy goodness. To be fair, there was a little bit of wind-swept crusty bits, but that's to be expected. This Christmas was spent at Francie's Cabin, in the backcountry mostly south of Breckenridge. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful and filled with lots of powdery snow. Plus! This cabin has a wood fired sauna. W-O-W! Play outside, go in sauna. With love, Sandie.

Saturday, September 13, 2008. 13 Quotes for A Half Marathon. This is for all you Half-Marathoners out there courtesy of Ann. Thanks Ann! And may you find everything you need in these thoughts. She wanted something to happen - something, anything: she did not know what. I tell our runners to divide the race into thirds. Run the first part with your head, the middle part with your personality, and the last part with your heart. Give all to love; obey thy heart. Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882). It's been ...

Sandie Says: July 2008
http://sandie-says.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2008. My Mom Plays the Diggery Doo. Or a story about the things you once knew. What is even more surprising about this dusty memory is that it's my mom. She was raised as a pretty proper Southern Belle. I'd say she still remains a recovering Southern Belle. Then, sometime in the early seventies while living in Australia, she learned how to play a real Aborigini Diggery Doo. Go Mom! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Mom Plays the Diggery Doo.
