Monday, August 30, 2010. Hello family and friends! Curious about what you'll discover here? Well "Appetites" refers to the cookbook my mother wrote in 1944. She was a fabulous cook. Her handwritten recipes, passed from mother to daughter, began with everyday meals of casseroles, friccasssees, and confections. As her world expanded, she put aside some of those organ meats and pastries to experiment with ethnic entrees and desserts. That's alot of food. Can anyone help? Also, do the recipes intrigue you?
