A Sweet Old Fashioned Girl: A weekend in Edinburgh
http://asweetoldfashionedgirl.blogspot.com/2011/01/weekend-in-edinburgh.html
A Sweet Old Fashioned Girl. Monday, 10 January 2011. A weekend in Edinburgh. So this past weekend my mum and I went on a weekend away to the capital Edinburgh! The main reason for going away was to see the fabulous production of Hairspray at the Playhouse on the Friday night, but we decided to make a weekend of it and do a ghosty tour and visit the castle. Happy Times! But I forgot to take my camera. Sad Times. Needless to say, Hairspray was absolutely amazing! Very fertile land so it is. Regardless of t...

A Dress A Day: I have neglected this blog for far too long!
http://toomanydresses.blogspot.com/2009/10/i-have-neglected-this-blog-for-far-too.html
Friday, 23 October 2009. I have neglected this blog for far too long! Apologies for not posting in weeks and weeks and weeks! I went on holiday (had a lovely time, thank you) and then after that quite a lot of my time was taken up with training for the Royal Parks Half Marathon. 2:36yes I know it's slow but it's fast for me! So my wardrobe in September consisted mainly of trainers and really unflattering Lycra running gear. It's chilly and I don't have any dresses that go with black tights! I have neglec...

A Dress A Day: Er...we have a slight problem
http://toomanydresses.blogspot.com/2009/06/erwe-have-slight-problem.html
Sunday, 14 June 2009. Erwe have a slight problem. You know the whole not buying dresses thing? That's working out just fine.the problem is that the shops are now also full of gorgeous high-waisted skirts. High-waisted skirts suit me down to the ground - they show off my waist, but hide my hips and stomach. Excellent! So in the past few weeks, I have bought:. From top: H&M, £5; Peacocks, £7; Primark, £9 (yes, the Primark skirt was the most expensive! This is IT, though, I promise! Thanks for all the Gin.

A Dress A Day: July 2009
http://toomanydresses.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 13 July 2009. Yesterday, I tackled my wardrobes. I'd been meaning to do it for ages - the last time I'd had a clearout was when I moved into my current flat last October. Bizarrely, I start feeling jittery and anxious if I feel like my flat is untidy or that things need sorting out, so having a good old sort-out really is a cathartic process. I ended up with two bin bags full of stuff to go to the charity shop! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Confessions of a cheapskate mum. Thanks for all the Gin.

A Sweet Old Fashioned Girl: Not another nail blog...
http://asweetoldfashionedgirl.blogspot.com/2011/01/not-another-nail-blog.html
A Sweet Old Fashioned Girl. Sunday, 2 January 2011. Not another nail blog. Like it says in my wee profile over there - - I’m in my Second year of beauty therapy at college but although i enjoy all aspects of it, I don’t really want to be a “Jack of all trades, master of none”. Type of person, so I’ve decided I’m going with what I'm good at and that is nails, or to be specific, natural nail care. Anyway, i don’t want this to be yet another nail blog as lord knows there are billions of them out there!

Polish - China Glaze Drummer Boy x1 (2010 winter collection) Deborah Lippmann Across The Universe x3 (2010 Fall Collection). Top - CND Super Shiny x2. Shut Up Sailor!: Wants: Addidas Watch
http://shutupsailor.blogspot.com/2009/08/want-addidas-watch.html
Wednesday, 19 August 2009. I don't wear a watch at the moment. I used to wear one throughout school but when I went to Uni. I was dancing all day and there was no need for any accessories (which made me sad). I am now being drawn towards the trend for colourful watches, but as I have quite small wrists I need ones with a smaller face than normal. During my regular lunchtime trawl of the internet I came across these two on Amazon. I can decided between the teal and the pink.hmmm. View my complete profile.

Shut Up Sailor!: August 2009
http://shutupsailor.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 26 August 2009. Today I am wearing my new winter boots. Friday, 21 August 2009. My colleague and I ventured to Opera North's mini fete this afternoon. On arrival we received free ice creams, played games and I won a Leeds Monopoly! We also received a free Aria from one of Opera North's performers. I stupidly agreed for it to be filmed and here is the result. May I add that it was about to pour down, my fringe blew across my face and I thought my ice cream was going to melt! I am now being draw...

Diario: Operation Stash Organise, Christmas 2016
http://diario.bunny-land.com/2017/01/operation-stash-organise-christmas-2016.html
Tuesday, 3 January 2017. Operation Stash Organise, Christmas 2016. Aka "Operation Make The Spare Room Presentable". The poor old spare room is crammed with:. All spare bedding - blankets, pillows, sleeping bags etc - plus big pieces of foam that I use for blocking. Leftover boxes of stuff from when we redid the kitchen. Eight years ago. Remaindered craft supplies from when I used to do other crafts. Clothes I don't wear anymore but don't want to get rid of. All knitting books and magazines. But, anyway, ...
