Not In This Story. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Reading, Blogging, and Learning to Check the Weather Report. I have put together a list of three activities that I would like to do this summer while I have what feels like an unlimited amount of time. 2 Blog more often. 3 Run a 5K by August. 1 began when I started reading Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. It is so far excellent, and slowly becoming just as good as Angels and Demons. And The DaVinci Code. 2 is being worked on as I write. For those of you that might be...

Ordinary Adventures: May 2011
http://ourordinaryadventures.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
The life and times of Kevin, Rebecca, and their growing family. Monday, May 30, 2011. Thank You Rivers Family! I loved growing up in Dalton, GA. It wasn't too small or too big. We were just close enough to bigger cities to enjoy some good shopping, but far enough away to not have all the traffic. Cheesy yes, but it was always my favorite part. I confess that in the past I haven't given much thought to the celebration of Memorial Day. But this year the well-known chorus of that song is stirring my hea...

The life and times of Kevin, Rebecca, and their growing family. Saturday, March 31, 2012. An Afternoon at the Beach.Corley Style. So glad that I don't have to make my living by blogging.I'd starve! But dinner is cooking and the boys are watching some basketball so I figured I'd post some pictures from our latest adventure. I think William spent 20 minutes climbing back and forth over the concrete curb. Who needs beach toys with a toy like that! Here's to all afternoon in the sun,. God Life The World.

Ordinary Adventures: February 2012
http://ourordinaryadventures.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The life and times of Kevin, Rebecca, and their growing family. Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Getting to the Heart. I love our church! We have been blessed with such a wonderfully diverse group of brothers and sisters, which is not something promised to all members of Presbyterian churches in small southern towns :). Of course all of us in the class would just like to be given the 3 easy steps to perfect children. Those exist right? So far we haven't been given those :), but during the first month of class ...

Not In This Story: Babalu and Seagram's
http://notinthisstory.blogspot.com/2011/02/babalu-and-seagrams.html
Not In This Story. Friday, February 18, 2011. I came home tonight to discover that we were going out to dinner with Caitlin's sister's family. It was a wonderful surprise after a busy afternoon of car repair and RUF related meetings. Honestly, I was so happy to go out instead of cooking that I did not even think about where we were going until we were halfway there. A wonderful end to a busy, but refreshing day. Not In This Story: The End...
http://notinthisstory.blogspot.com/2011/02/end.html
Not In This Story. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. He gently clothed them and then he sent them away on a long, long journey- out of the garden, our of their home. Well, in another story, it would all be over and that would have been. The End. But not in this story. You see, no matter what, in spite of everything, God would love his children- with a Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love.". Those lines are excerpts from The Jesus Storybook Bible. Jackson, MS, United States.

The life and times of Kevin, Rebecca, and their growing family. Saturday, January 29, 2011. Well technically I don't have a picture with all 4 generations in it. Sorry! The two middle generations, my father and myself, are missing from these pictures. If you'd like to imagine the two of us in these pictures then you'll have all four generations pictured (but the pictures will not be nearly as cute :). Here is William Taylor with one of his namesakes Julia Taylor Cushman (a.k.a. Gigi). God Life The World.
