Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Livin' it up Fiji Style. My first night I ate dinner at the resort restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly. Everyone here is so nice. Wherever you walk staff are constantly saying 'Bula', which means hello. Chilled out in my room afterward watching my sweet flat screen tv and listening to the waves out my window. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Yesterday Ashley and I went to Sydney’s Taronga Zoo. It was exciting from the start because we took a ferry to get to the zoo. On the ride we had beautiful views of the city, the harbor bridge and the opera house. Here are a few of the sights we saw. They sleep 20 hours a day (I wish I could do that every now and again) because the eucalyptus they eat is so hard to digest. If a human ate as much eucalyptus as a koala we would die because the leaves are actually toxic. We spent t...

Sunday, May 10, 2009. Coming to the end. Yesterday I left Perth. I successfully completed 2 of the 5 flights I will be on this week. Leaving Perth was sad. It was so beautiful there and I was having a blast with Debbie. Unfortunately things got frustrating as soon as I stepped into the airport. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Your walk out song. Baseball season is upon us and I can't wait. This is easily my favorite time of the year. The weather is gorgeous, the birds are singing, and the Coors Light guy is only a "Hey Beerman! Away I find it so relaxing to go to a baseball game and just enjoy sights and sounds of the Ballpark. It helps when the Rangers win, but let's not kid ourselves here. I often find myself thinking "I wonder what I would use as a walk out song if I were a Major League player?
