Sternenklare Naechte und strahlend blauer Himmel ueber den ganzen Tag verteilt . bis zu dem Tag wo wir unseren Zwei - Tages - Trip antraten! Two shortys hit the road. Freitag, 8. Mai 2009. Finally on the road! Nach langer harter Warte- und Arbeitszeit sind wir endlich auf unserem Roadtrip! Von Dead Man's Flats sind wir ueber Calgary Richtung Las Vegas unterwegs! Nachdem wir quer durch den Staat Montana gefahren sind kamen wir im Yellowstone National Park an! Riesig sag ich euch und einfach unglaublich schoen! Aber nichts desto trotz war es sehr sehr geil! Riesen Dinger . WoW! Schnell ein Touri - T-Shirt gekauft und weiter ging es auch schon.

Sonntag, 10. Mai 2009. Von New Orleans nach Texas. Von Atlanta aus ging es weiter in Richtung New Orleans. Durch den Deep South der USA, weite Sumpflandschaften und noch immer sichtbarer Zerstörung durch Hurricane Katrina vor dreieinhalb Jahren. Zumindest die Touristengebiete von New Orleans sind wieder aufgebaut und man spürt den Südsaatenflair an jeder Ecke. Jazzmusik, Cajunküche und Voodookult trifft man überall und bietet eine gute Abwechslung zur sonstigen Amerikanischen Fastfoodkultur.

Sonntag, 17. Mai 2009. Seit gestern sind wir in Los Angeles, nachdem wir eine Nacht in Las Vegas verbracht haben. Bilder von dort reich ich noch nach. Vorhin haben wir hier im Hotel unser erstes Erbeben erlebt. Kleiner, kaum spürbare Erschütterungen sind ja hier nichts außergewöhnliches, das letzte hatte jedoch eine Stärke von immerhin 5,0. Der Fernseher und ein paar andere Möbelstücke hier im Zimmer haben etwas gewackelt. Schäden gibts aber keine. Hier ein erstes Newsvideo:. Anonym hat gesagt….

Dienstag, 2. Juni 2009. Seit letzten Samstag bin ich nun wieder in Vancouver, also dort wo alles begann. Unser Roadtrip ging überraschend schnell vorbei, irgendwie habe ich weniger Bilder gemacht wie ich mir vorgenommen hatte, aber das ist bei mir immer so. Ne tolle Erfahrung wars auf jeden Fall, 10 000 km durch die Staaten. Wir haben viel gesehen, viele Städte besucht und auf jeden Fall einiges erlebt. Vielen Dank an alle, die mir das ermöglicht haben und mich in dem Unternehmen unterstützt haben!

Unser nächstes Ziel ist nicht wie geplant San Diego, sondern wir fahren zuerst in den Norden an den Grand Canyon, dann eine Nacht nach Las Vegas, und dann nach Los Angeles, die Kalifornische Küste entlang.
