It has, obviously, become a bit impossible for me to blog every day. Not only is my computer serving elsewhere, but my energy levels are diminishing. I have to rearrange and reprioritize things. Don't worry. I'm not giving up either of my blogs. One helps me feel more connected with family and friends and the other. I love music and dancing and singing and laughing.

The 12 days of Christmas! I'll be honest, it started out a little rough. For some unknown reason, my package, which was sent by my awesome partner, Angie. Saturday, July 20, 2013. Maia, The Grasshopper Hunter. Maia marks the beginning of spring with the first grasshopper she sees. Every year she'll shriek with joy when she spots the first one of the year and then run inside to grab her "bug house" and try to catch it. Then all summer she goes out and catches them, and butterflies, and anything else she can! So I felt I needed to document this annual ritual for her.
