The Old Pine Tree. July 16, 2015. Peas, cauliflower, cabbage, and radishes overrun with crabgrass. Kale finally established, beets drowning in crabgrass, everything framed with you-know-what. Believe it or not this was after weeding. Watermelon radishes fresh from the ground (not pictured: ten slugs in various stages of development). The Old Pine Tree. July 23, 2015. Left at the buoy and straight on for miles. It couldn’t get any greener here and I couldn’t get any happier. Some shots from last night’s run:. The beginning of a 300′ ascent, just past the raspberry patch. I noticed these wild blueberries on the side of the trail and almost tripped over my own feet. I stopped and ate my fill (antioxidants! I’m sure there are electrolytes in them, right? This is my happy hour. Stopping to take in the view. Said: This is amazing.
