Katie Mae Quilts: Some Little Finishes
http://katiemaequilts.blogspot.com/2014/08/some-little-finishes.html
Friday, August 22, 2014. I just spent a couple days in Seattle with the boys, celebrating my birthday, where I learned that the Dude is now dangerous in quilt stores. He no longer complains about being there. No, he's in the shelves, picking fabric, and confidently ordering a quarter yard and three quarter yard. I also made a stack of burp clothes for my sister - Army ones for her husband. And UConn ones for her! Before putting the rest in the green bin. Whoop Whoop @ Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

Pieces of My Heart. Sunday, 9 August 2015. A Little Catch Up. Realized the other day that I finished this before vacation but forgot to share it with you. It is a wool wrap that I did take with me to Alaska and was happy to have it the chilly day we cruised Glacier Bay. It's the Yowza Weigh It Shawl 4. From Ravelry. I really enjoyed this knit, with lovely Miss Babs yarn in the Funny Papers colourway. Is also from Ravelry. Was a lovely surprise to come across this towards the end of the trail. Finally, fi...

http://vroomansquilts.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. Well the sun will shine, it will get warmer, and the lawnmowers have been primed for the first cutting of grass. The tractors and machinery have been delivered to the crop fields which means they will be getting land in ready for planting, then the planting and soon little signs of new life will appear across the flat lands. I love the smell of new mown grass, fresh tilled soil, and new sprouting crops. I have participated with Marcia's. I will be a Hands 2 Help guest blogger on...

Weekend Wisdom: February 2013
http://weekendwisdom.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Just my musings about life, quilting, my family and my dog. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. What I'm listening to. Judy, over at Patchwork Times. Has started a new weekly thing asking us to write about what we're reading. Well, while I rarely read a physical book, I am almost never without a novel on my iPod. I get so much "reading" done this way and I don't have to choose between quilting and reading - I can do BOTH at the same time! That's very much of a win-win in my book (Pun intended! Ramblings of a quilter: September 2014
http://ramblingsofaquilter.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Ramblings of a quilter. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Making the mini quilts in the last two posts got me all fired up to decorate for Halloween. I found my storage bins of Halloween goodies and got busy. It's my excuse to decorate with a few funny cats. Does this guy not look like he has eaten way too much candy? I made this bloke out of wool felt many years ago. I had so much fun making this little quilt a few years back. A vintage vignette in my family room. A couple of funny faces! Fun to do too.

Katie Mae Quilts: Christmas Charming Stars - Finished!
http://katiemaequilts.blogspot.com/2014/08/christmas-charming-stars-finished.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. Christmas Charming Stars - Finished! Unlike some of my recent finishes, which had been marinating too long in the sewing room for me to like them anymore, this one was a joy to finish. So why did it take me so long? Was started in 2011. Probably. I don't want to go back and look in case it was longer. It's from a. Moda Bake Shop tutorial. Although I used charm packs and changed up most of the layout. Let's just say the blocks are from the tutorial. The backing shows off the quilt...
