Thursday, December 17, 2009. The Polar Express is one of my favorite books. I loved reading it to my first graders and was so excited to take them on a class trip to see the movie when it came out. The movie is so well done and seeing it on the big screen was so memorable! Lydia has been watching the movie this week and seems very interested in it and trains this week. Tonight we went to the Historic L and N Train Depot in BG to load the train and listen to a reading of the book. Lydia and Riley Janes Mom.

Saturday, April 3, 2010. We were thrilled to attend a little Easter Egg Hunt at a nearby church in my neighborhood. Jack, Reese and Zoe came along for the Bunny Fun. Lydia found the egg with the GRAND PRIZE- a gift card to Toys R Us! There were sweet baby animals to pet- bunnies, pig, goats, lambs, and dogs. When we lived in Louisville, we had several snow days where we enjoyed sledding with our neighbors. She was so excited when she saw the snow on the ground, even if just a dusting. Since school was out on Monday, Karson spent the night with Elizabeth. The girls are such good friends and had a blast playing in the snow; a bonus to the fun they always have together.
