The joy of the Lord is my strength. Visiting Sarah Brown in Ohio 12/26-31. Ada and I set out at 8:30 in the morning and got to Sarah’s around 6:00. While we were there we got to go to the Creation Museum in Kentucky. If you’re ever in the area you just have to go! It’s truly amazing. The garden of Eden. Sarah, Sarah, and Ada. It’s a good thing Ada’s name isn’t Sarah. can you imagine how confusing that would be? Things were so lifelike. This guy even moved. Scary. And Joe was so much fun! I am so unworthy...

I was quite happy. ya’ll really didn’t think that I could stay away from animals for two weeks did you? Church on Sunday morning.

The joy of the Lord is my strength. I live on an organic produce farm in Pennsylvania with my parents and younger brother. I love the fact that our business is at home and we can all work together. I speak Spanish and have traveled to Nicaragua twice, to Guatemala twice, and also to Africa. If ever given the chance, I’d love to visit all the Central American countries, Europe, and Israel. A few things I enjoy: reading my Bible, hanging out with friends, photography, rollerblading, volleyball! Someone vis...

Sing for joy in the Lord, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Psalm 33:1. A Canoe A Day. March 11, 2015. Halfway around the lake, an old canoe was left. One day I decided to take a picture of this canoe once a day as I drove past. In the end, I did not take a photo every day, but here is what I have. It captures a little bit of the varying beauty that presented itself every day. These were all taken with my iPhone. Which one is your favorite? Mission Trip Coming Up! A Canoe A Day.

Sing for joy in the Lord, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Psalm 33:1. March 19, 2014. It is hard to believe that another year of Macsa Bible Quizzing is over. Another 300 verses of the Bible committed to memory. This year they memorized the whole book of Hebrews. Quizzing is a lot of hard work! A lot of hours are put in to memorize all the verses and practice with the other teams. And then comes the really exciting part- the quiz-a-thons! Hosea’s team: Rockville Sword. Hosea̵...

Sing for joy in the Lord, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Psalm 33:1. To Ohio and Back Again. January 17, 2014. Half an hour later we made it out of the snowstorm and we on our way. The rest of the 8 hour trip was a breeze. Once at Sarah B’s house, we settled in and talked for a few hours and we ate supper. We met her family and got to know her sweet dogs. I’m not a dog person, but I loved her dog named Puppy! This room was the Garden of Eden and one of our favorite rooms. I̵...

January 10, 2015. Geeeezzzz….I’m only 5 months late, but here is my documentary everyone! July 9, 2014. In the pursuit of happiness. I met up with Nic Marks. Yesterday, an expert in ‘well-being’. He is probably most famous, and most proud of coming up with the innovative Happy Planet Index. I first learnt about him when I watched his TED talk. A year or so ago. I find the concept of moving away from GDP as a measure of a country’s welfare an overdue one! Posted in Uni Journo Assessments. July 4, 2014.
