Monday, 25 April 2011. Here she is all painted up and looking very smart. We took her down to Penarvan Cove with a little help from our friends. A bit of mast fitting general tightening of bolts and wires and shes a good-un. Its all very technical. Then away she goes. Thanks to Dom Andy and Fin, and to the steadfast crew for all her paintwork. Friday, 15 April 2011. All the crews hard work(THANK YOU), is paying off. Looking good. Wednesday, 29 April 2009. She is Looking Good. Finally she is ready for the launch. New electrics, new paint, new colours. New floor covering, lino printed with many wine bottle corks, is this saying something about what will be the on board beverage of choice? Sarah chose it, enough said). I rest my case. Monday, 23 March 2009. Finally we have some fine weather and so work begins on the little boat. We have stripped off the sheets and halyards to replace them with new colour coded ones, to help Sarah learn the ropes. The hull has been stripped down, quite well, as well as can be expected for two very impatient people. Then blasted off with a pressure washer. Sunday, 30 November 2008. Here we go then, the boat is out of the water at the end of a wettish summer, up on the hard surrounded by other boats all getting the same treatment . Well perhaps not, anyway we have started to strip the anti-fouling off her . Years of being repainted have built up it must be 3 or 4 mil thick, more in places . It looks as though she may have been light blue originally below the water. Biggest job will be to put a new out board on her with built in charging and easy start so so...

Vi tänkte oss ut till Stora Nassa men vädret ville annorlunda. Vi siktade in oss på Ingmarsö och lilla Kastet. Förtöjd säkert trots ogynsamma vindar på kvällen och naten. Vi somnade tidigt och sov 12 timmar,. Lugnt och skönt i lä bakom Bockgårdsholmen.

Skivorna till toautrymmet lackas hemma med flera lager klarlack så de blir blanka och fina. I dag var det riktigt varmt och ska så förbli ett par dagar. Då passade jag på och bytte genomföring till avloppet under diskhon.
