Clark’s Favorites – The Last Book I Read
https://sarahsbookjournal.wordpress.com/for-the-kids/clarks-favorites
The Last Book I Read. Like it says, a list of everything I've read. I was looking at my son’s bookshelf the other day and noticed how many books have been his favorites and now we don’t read anymore-and he’s only 2 1/2! I decided that I’d like to remember all those books we read time after time after time, and so, here is a list. Ostensibly in chronological order. To be updated as is warranted. Infant/Baby, the first year. Baby Animals Black and White by Phyllis Tildes. By Mem Fox and. A lovely board boo...

The Last Book I Read. Like it says, a list of everything I've read. May 29, 2015. The Wonder Garden by Lauren Acampora. I did feel some sadness for some of the characters but mostly enjoyed the peeping Tom aspect of reading these stories: look at her! I know your secrets! Although I don’t remember much about it the film. Came to mind in terms of this theme. I think Tom Perrotta fans might also like this book. A really good book! This entry was posted in Adult Fiction. The Last Book I Read. Like it says, a list of everything I've read. Http:/ www.yalsa.ala.org/thehub/2013/03/05/that-was-then-this-is-now-and-both-were-young/. Here is a list of boarding school books with a few notes about what I remember about them, or why the book was special to me. It’s not a comprehensive list of books of the genre by any means, but that’s because I’m not including books that I feel “eh” about. Sure, I know. Spying on Miss Mueller. Luvvy and the Girls. And Both Were Young. By Madeline...

The Last Book I Read. Like it says, a list of everything I've read. August 22, 2016. Crowned and Dangerous by Rhys Bowen. I do so love this series (Her Royal Spyness.) In this latest entry it picks up mere minutes after the conclusion, with Georgie and Darcy headed off to that most promising of historical destinations-Gretna Green. But of course, events waylay them. August 17, 2016. The Candymakers and the Great Chocolate Chase by Wendy Mass. What a terrific sequel! This sequel was loooooong, but very sa...

The Last Book I Read. Like it says, a list of everything I've read. June 11, 2015. Evil Librarian by Michelle Knudsen. It’s hard to believe the same author that wrote this hilarious novel also wrote. A picture book that gets me teary every time I read it aloud. Not too gory or horrifying, and with that wonderful Buffy feeling of even the villains have really funny lines. I really enjoyed this and surely hope there is a sequel to this. Recommended for people who liked. Hold Me Closer, Necromancer. Robyn V...

It's All About De: My Effing 2013 Newsletter
http://itsallaboutde.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-effing-2013-newsletter.html
It's All About De. Friday, December 27, 2013. My Effing 2013 Newsletter. I have a cousin who sends out newsletters at the end of each year. They have absolutely no sense of irony or reality. The newsletters gush about lavish vacations, their perfect children and all the wonderful things they do all year. Last year, I posted a sarcastic, profanity-laden "newsletter" of my own that I, of course, didn't share with them, but with my favorite people on Twitter. I lost some friends but regained some old ones!

It's All About De. Monday, December 24, 2012. As the year comes to a close and I reflect on the moments I experienced, I can't help but think about the main theme of my year: friendship. I have made some friends and unfortunately lost some friends this year but in all, I was lucky enough to have all of these people in my life at some point. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. It's All About De: December 2010
http://itsallaboutde.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
It's All About De. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Today I got a very useful gift, an Apple wireless keyboard that I can use with my iPhone. This means I can blog a lot more while I'm at home. I use to blog more often at work but lately I'm just too distracted. Also, it's been a really bad month and I'm sure whoever might still be reading this doesn't want to hear about bad crap all the time. I've read so many books on the Kindle since I acquired it that I just can't keep up with reviews. A Work in Progress.

It's All About De. Monday, December 29, 2014. The Many Themes of 2014. It’s the time of year again where we take a look back and wonder where it all went wrong. Some people take this time to send out newsletters to let everyone know how perfect their lives are and I would love to do that but I don’t live in a world of make-believe or fantasy. I live in a world of booze, hard truth and a bit of levity. Another theme for the year was similar to last year; friends. This followed another successful FanFest a...
It's All About De: On Being Disposable
http://itsallaboutde.blogspot.com/2013/06/on-being-disposable.html
It's All About De. Thursday, June 27, 2013. I wonder if others feel disposable? By disposable, I mean, easy to discard or forget. I'm well aware that friendships and relationships can be cyclical. There are periods in your life where certain friendships are necessary and then things change and needs change and you evolve and move on to other journeys that require different people in different circumstances. I am a fraud. An absolute fraud. So how do I combat these manic feelings? For me, I lean to one ex...

What I think of recently published books. January 8, 2015 by sarahsbookreflections. I felt the need to start off the New Year with something funny to put us all in the mood for overcoming all the sadness and violence going on around the globe. So here are three stories with slightly different takes on specific myths or fairy tales. May this year bring peace, love and understanding not just to us personally but to the whole world.
