Friday, March 18, 2011. Home Free is a book about a girl in the sixties named Lee, short for Leanne. When she loses her best friend Kathy, she has to find a new best friend. Kathy is being mean to her. Lee figures out there is an orphan moving in next door to her. Will she be able to make friends with her? It's very excting and makes me want to read it all over again! What I'm reading and what I recommend. As I have mentioned in previous posts, my family is moving toward a more plant-based diet, so we are testing out all sorts of cookbooks and other resources catering to vegans. In my searches for things like realistic chocolate chip cookies and other cravings, I have come across Angela Liddon’s Oh She Glows website. Over and over again.
