http://blaingilpin.blogspot.com/2011/07/normal-0-false-false-false-en-ca-x-none.html
Friday, July 15, 2011. When I finally entered the house I was surprised and comforted at the same time. We were greeted by our very knowledgeable and gracious host. She gave us an extensive history of the house, neighbourhood and family. Well worth the $5 admission for a week day visit. If you have the privilege to go on a Sunday you can enjoy a tour and tea for a mere $6. Http:/ www.roeddehouse.org/. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What I like on-line. The Bird's Nest Vancouver. Welcome to my blog.

Blaine Gilpin: Hidden Treasures in Vancouver
http://blaingilpin.blogspot.com/2012/01/hidden-treasures-in-vancouver.html
Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Hidden Treasures in Vancouver. So for any of you that know me, I love to eat. But unfortunately, from working and living around the food industry, I don’t love cooking. I enjoy making people happy, but being in the kitchen is not my favorite past time. As a result I tend to eat out a lot. I enjoy a great atmosphere, good conversations, and most of all…. delicious food. Which brings me to today’s post…. She is first of all the most gracious of a hostess. What I like on-line.

Http:/ www.vancouverpolicemuseum.ca/. This is yet another place to go that is fascinating and affordable. It is located at 240 E Cordova near Main and Hastings. It is the historic City Morgue and Coroner’s Court from Vancouver’s past. Seniors and Students: $5.00. Family: $20.00 (two adults, two youth under 17).

Thursday, January 5, 2012. My newest place to eat! So picture it… January 1. What a better way to bring in the New Year than to have a delicious brunch? We sat at home wondering what was open, and decided to go to some local haunts over on Main St. After getting ready and looking forward to a great meal, we arrived to find that both places were closed. I hope all of the staff enjoyed the day without people like us interrupting. Their hangovers from a well-deserved night of celebration. I have always been...
