The rest of the story. Monday, March 12, 2012. The Islands of Adventure was the theme park I most wanted to visit in Orlando. For years we've dreamed of drinking Butterbeer and taking in a Quiddich match. Universal made our dream a reality. On the bridge overlooking Hogwarts. When we stepped into Hogsmeade, we found the place completely overrun with Muggles. A little sample of the crowds we had to condend with that day. That "snow" on the roof is deceiving. It was HOT that day! The ride was amazing!

The rest of the story. Thursday, August 30, 2012. Not to brag about my genius kids or anything, BUT Jake and Emma achieved Triple Honor Roll status last year in school. They had a special awards night back in early June. I think I remember Emma spending lots of time getting ready for it. Emma got a lot of recognition during her 6th grade awards assembly. I was a proud mama! Jacob was also promoted from the 8th grade to high school. One plant that's easy to grow at my house:. A Day I Felt Especially Old.

Tuesday, May 5, 2009. The Dysart District has an annual art show where 2 students from each grade level are chosen to have their artwork displayed at the education center. Tylar and Kiley were were both 1 out of the 2 for 1st and 2nd grade. I was actually very surprised but very excited by Kiley's being chosen. She takes after me with NO art skills whatsoever!
