It pains me to see Barnes and Noble fall to the same fate as Borders. RIP) As much as I love the young and sexy Amazon.com, the world needs a brick and mortar shelter from the storm of ignorance. It may be deja vu for Barnes and Noble to compete against online booksellers but there is another way. BN needs to re-invent the bookstore into a destination for the community to meet and discuss ideas in person; an online store can't compete with human interaction. I wanted to Save Borders.
