Savoring Time in the Kitchen

About Me - Contact. Food and Social Networks - Join Me! Monday, August 10, 2015. Cherry Tomato and Cucumber Salad. This salad is so simple. Straight from my garden where cherry tomatoes are ripening and tiny pickling cucumbers are finally starting to take off. It's a favorite of mine at this time of year. If you're not growing your own then a trip to the farmers' market is always fun! I love walking up and down the aisles for local produce this time of year. 1/4 cup dried California basil. Savoring Time in the Kitchen: Baked Zucchini Pie

http://savoringtimeinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2010/08/baked-zucchini-pie.html

About Me - Contact. Food and Social Networks - Join Me! Tuesday, August 17, 2010. I added more herbs than the original recipe called for and also changed the cheeses added. I was extremely happy with the result and even more happy to find a recipe that will allow me to use my every-growing zucchini crop! This was our Meatless Monday meal last night. Here's a great tip for you.use a potato ricer to squeeze out the excess moisture in zucchini. It works beautifully! Inspired by this recipe. 3 eggs, beaten.

Savoring Time in the Kitchen: Pistachio and Olive Tapenade

http://savoringtimeinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2015/07/pistachio-and-olive-tapenade.html

About Me - Contact. Food and Social Networks - Join Me! Friday, July 31, 2015. Pistachio and Olive Tapenade. Do you love olives? Here is a recipe that I have been making for years and years. When I looked through my archives, I was surprised that I hadn't shared it here yet. This version of the classic tapenade does not include capers or anchovies but instead has an abundance of pistachios for crunch and delightful flavor. The original recipe comes from another Junior League cookbook, Colorado Collage.

Savoring Time in the Kitchen: Tomatoes - Garden Fresh and Oven Dried

http://savoringtimeinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2012/09/tomatoes-garden-fresh-and-oven-dried.html

About Me - Contact. Food and Social Networks - Join Me! Saturday, September 1, 2012. Tomatoes - Garden Fresh and Oven Dried. We were able to visit a couple of outdoor markets while we were there and I have to tell you that the Colorado produce was fantastic. We were served a dessert with fresh, Colorado peaches that rivaled any other peach I've ever tasted. The tomatoes were also amazing. No wonder, since Colorado boasts that it has 300 sunny days a year. Preheat Oven to 200F. 3 Place cut side up on a pa...

About Me - Contact. Food and Social Networks - Join Me! Sunday, October 10, 2010. The Beautiful Fall Colors of Red and Gold . Habanero Style! Angel Hair Pasta with Turkey Meatballs in Marinara Sauce. April 11, 2012. You would not believe it, but I have been trying to write a post for about a week now. Obviously, nothing has gone up, so you’ll have to take my word for it, but it has been a crazy week. More crazy than you could adequately shake a rolling pin at. I’m going to leave the descriptions at that and let your mind work at finding a comparable parallel within your own world. Angel Hair Pasta with Turkey Meatballs in Marinara Sauce. 1/4 c...

Savoring Truth

Jesus doesn't want His followers to be like hypocrites, we should be different. Our lives should be lives of authenticity. Jesus repeated this over and over again in three different sets of religious activities. Authentic Christian integrity involves both the relationship and discipleship. It's about a relationship, but there are regular disciplines we need to make in our life in order to grow in God. Do our motives matter? As followers we shouldn't advertise our giving by drawing attention to yourself.
