Thursday, October 22, 2009. I apologize for not updating in over a month, but honestly nothing super exciting has happened. I go to class and that's about it. But this Sunday a group called Lyon International organized an international student outing to a vineyard int he beaujolais region! So we all piled into buses and drove about half an hour outside Lyon into the beautiful French countryside to walk through the vineyard and taste the wine. Just in case you wanted proof I was there :). We have a mount!

Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Qing dao is a pretty city on the coast south of Beijing. It's where they had the sailboat competition for the olympics and, as I mentioned earlier, where they brew TingTao beer. Here are some pictures:. Sunday, April 26, 2009. China Russia = Haerbin (Plus Easter in China). Inside was interesting. Instead of a big crucifix above the altar, there was a giant painting of Mary surrounded with christmas lights. And each pillar had a giant projection screen with the words to songs on it.
