Our Work in Cuba. For more than 20 years, SCAPC and the Presbytery of South Louisiana have been providing many benevolent services to several Presbyterian Churches in Cuba, including the El Centro Presbyterian Reformed Church in Matanzas and the Juan G. WHAT DOES BAPTISM MEAN? WHO CAN BE BAPTIZED? Baptism is offered to adults, upon their profession of faith in Jesus Christ, as well as to the children of parents who are members of SCAPC. The baptism of infants witnesses to the truth that God’s love claims useven before we are able to respond in faith. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO?

There are many ways for Youth (6th -12th grade students) to get involved in the life of the church and connect with others! 9:30 – 10:15 AM). We meet in the Youth Room on the third floor for a Bible Study and fellowship. 5 – 7 PM). Our Jr. and Sr. High Youth groups meet for activities, games, study, fellowship, and dinner. Youth Group Dinner Sign-Up. Throughout the year we also have service projects, small groups, mission trips, retreats, and conferences we attend.

WHY BECOME A MEMBER? HOW DO I JOIN? DO I NEED TO BE BAPTIZED IN ORDER TO JOIN THE CHURCH? Yes Your baptism could have taken place when you were an infant, child or adult; it could have taken place at a non-Presbyterian church. That’s okay. But, if you haven’t been baptized, then you need to be baptized, in order to be a member. Let one of the elders or pastors know that you need to be baptized, and we can easily arrange for it. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I JOIN?
