Thinking out loud, sorta: January 2012

Thinking out loud, sorta. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. See that guy in the picture. That is my husband. He's reading Scripture at "our" girl's wedding a couple years ago. When it comes to writing about him i am bias. No doubt about it, and with plenty of reason. He helps keep me sane. He doesn't worry about much, if anything. He can laugh at himself. He can carry a conversation. He loves others easily. He is so kind. He is brave and strong. Posted by Mel G. Sunday, January 22, 2012. One was known by mill...

Thinking out loud, sorta. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Posted by Mel G. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. A couple weekends ago we made the trek to Bandon, spent the night and then went to church with Nate and Shilah in Coquille for Abigail's dedication. And looking at the pictures i realize i don't have any that are very good. But . . . Toward the end of the pastor's prayer Abby was getting a little fussy. So Mom put her finger in her mouth. Ah, the comfort of a mother's touch! Posted by Mel G.

Thinking out loud, sorta: Finally . . .
http://cookingwithmel.blogspot.com/2013/09/finally.html
Thinking out loud, sorta. Thursday, September 26, 2013. Finally . . . Summer is over. I know for many of you this is unpleasant news. Not me. We had no rain in July. Or August. It was only a matter of days before i would totally dry out and blow away. Then, finally, the rains came. My soul is better. So, what did summer bring? And i would probably see more of them if i went on Facebook more often. We are going to SoCal in October. A wedding! This will make being in California survivable. I'm not a fan.

Thinking out loud, sorta. Friday, October 5, 2012. This is Sully with his dad and siblings. The youngest is Mirette. They live in Alabama so we don't get to see them nearly as often as we would like. Miri is from Ethiopia. She is just so personable. And no one is a stranger. She is friendly to everyone! Well, to us anyway. And considering how often she sees us we could be strangers. Thinking out loud, sorta. Monday, May 21, 2012. Not much new really. After looking at it and realizing it's just been too long, i know it's time to change up the blog. But to what? We have been talking about taking a little vacation, in state. Perhaps the southern Oregon coast. We have one weekend planned and booked so far. Going to Bandon so we can see Shilah and family. But we just keep getting distracted by daily life and don't get around to planning anything beyond that. And we get to see them often.
