Terry Lamb - Owner of ScopeGuard Alaska
http://www.scopeshieldalaska.com/id74.html
Terry Lamb - Owner of ScopeGuard Alaska. After discovering a ScopeShield. Owned by the rangemaster at the Sandpoint Idaho City rifle range. You really must love Idaho, Sandpoint has no City golf course! He was so impressed he tracked down the early designer, Jon Stram, and joined in the business. Recently, Jon abandoned his partners. Terry carries on now as ScopeGuard Alaska, with the same fine scope covers, made by the same fine people exactly where they have been made for the last 6 years.

Scope Shield Rifle Scope Covers
http://www.scopeshieldalaska.com/id31.html
ScopeGuard covers are made of stretchable neoprene, to snugly cover the entire rifle scope. The keeper loop insures that the ScopeGuard cannot fall away from the rifle, distracting the shooter or losing the cover. ScopeGuards are placed over the muzzle end of the scope and stretched rearward over the tube. Pulling the rear finger tab back while lifting, then releasing, causes the cover to slingshot forward. Most riflemen can soon instantly release the cover without even looking away from the target.

ScopeShield Alaska: October 2009
http://scopeshieldalaska.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 16, 2009. Why Riflescope Lenses Fog. Aside from rain, fog, slop and goo that may fall directly on scope lenses in the field, hunters are additionally plagued by "fogging" on exterior scope lenses. Fogging is simply the condensation of water on the scope lenses and body for precisely the same reasons as forms the morning dew. The "dewpoint" of air is the temperature at which it can no longer hold water as vapor, condensing from vapor to liquid water. The first step is to attempt to physica...

Tuesday, October 19, 2010. PP&D - Peeling, Planning, and Dreaming. Boy, have I been remiss? Looking back, it's been almost 10 months since I last published a Blog. That WILL NOT DO! For this Blog post, though, I'll just let you all know a little about what I finished up the summer with. Abigail, my only granddaughter, 3 years old, going on 4. My Sweetheart! I'll post a photo or two of some of our log peeling efforts, but trust me, there are lot's more of those photos where those came from. If you'd l...
