View my complete profile. Sunday, May 17, 2009. Women of Steel Triathlon. Did my first Triathlon yesterday (May 16th, 2009). The swim was in a pool and was complete havok! Too many people said they could swim faster than they really could. I passed 5-6 people in a 300 meeter swim, with a 12 second gap per person. Slowed me down quite a bit, it was kinda frustrating. The bike was awesome and the run went pretty well. It kinda made me wonder why I had signed up for the St. George marathon though.

The other thing that has been quite an adjustment for us is the distance we are from everything. Most things are 20-30 minutes away so we really have to make sure that we get every where when we go into town. Again this Christmas is very bittersweet; we are getting ready to leave one of our favorite places. I realized that I didn't get many pictures but maybe that is because the whole holiday season I had moving on my brain more than Christmas. It was like the year we got married; it was "hurry and clean up Christmas! One of his favorite games! I love the look of excitement in his face!

We bought a house in Clinton, UT! Josh works at Hill AFB as an electronics engineer for the U.S. Air Force. Shauna is still teaching third grade and commutes everyday to Lehi, UT! After the Sig, we switched out for a Colt .380, and that was slightly smaller than the Sig. It felt a little better and the clip was easier to load.
