Scottish Wildlife Trust Blogs
Scottish Wildlife Trust Blogs. June 14th, 2014 by fallsofclyde. I managed to get a quick video of one of the adult blue tits. Flying in and out of the box. If you look carefully you can see the adult carrying away the fecal sac for disposal, as he leaves the nest box. A fecal sac is essentially a the hard membrane in which chicks of several “garden” birds species, do their toilet. I like to think of it as an eco friendly disposable toilet carrier bag.
