Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Nathan got me good for April Fools.and boy was I mad! Joshua turned 11 years old! Boy how time flies. His morning started with a yummy breakfast: scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls and strawberries! When he got home from school he found this. Later that night we went to Olive Garden to celebrate. Then he got to open his presents. He was so excited for his new fishing pole! He also got some cool throwing knives and a fun "boiling water" gadget from his cousin Ben! We sure love you Josh!

Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Last Saturday we decided to head into Anchorage with our neighbors and watch the dog sled races for Fur Rondy. We headed out to Campbell Air Strip and had a front row view. It was so cool seeing all the dogs. They are a lot smaller than I thought they would be, and their tongues are so long (notice in the pictures). It was a beautiful sunny Alaskan day! It was cold, so we were all bundled up! Here are some pictures of the teams. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Our Family Adventures: October 2013
http://cardonclan.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 7, 2013. Jared took the boys pheasant hunting a few weekend ago. There has been a little depression running through our house since we lost Pete, so Jared decided to take the boys hunting. They haven't been pheasant hunting since we lived in Iowa, so they were really excited. They went to a farm, so pheasants were abundant! Jared stopped and took this picture on the way home. That is an old stranded boat in the middle of a lake. Sure there is a story behind that! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

It was quite the adventure.reminded me of riding the metro in D.C. The best part of the whole day was eating at the Cheesecake Factory!
