TriGreyhound: June 2009
http://trigreyhound.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 27, 2009. I've Seen This Movie Before. I hated the movie "Titanic." There I said it. Beyond being the worst movie to ever win "Best Picture," I could not see the point of starting a movie where you know how it ends. No matter what twists the writers have put into the script to keep you occupied for the next couple of hours of your life . . . THE SHIP SINKS, FOLKS. Really. And Leo isn't going to get the girl. Flash to Father Greyhound's father, who looked exactly like him who looks exactly ...

TriGreyhound: August 2009
http://trigreyhound.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. So, the Missus is checking on the price and necessity of "evacuation insurance" for transporting my mortal frame, in whatever injured condition, from Ironman Cozumel back to the United States. Thanks for the vote of confidence, hon. kthxbai. Links to this post. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Tale of the Tape. For lunch, I ate a potato bigger than my head smothered in ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, butter, chives and sour cream. Beer and birthday cake. Very unlike my garb this morning.

TriGreyhound: May 2009
http://trigreyhound.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. On Memorial Day, 2009, I returned to the site of my first ever triathlon. And on the day, I was fairly satisfied with the experience. After all it was not my "A" race of the season, and I had modest goals. I wanted to do better than my first triathlon, and I wanted to have a comfortable swim with my head in a better place than my previous efforts. What is the point? You're not going to win. You're not even getting any better. I, myself, often have to deal with the critic on...Think...

http://trigreyhound.blogspot.com/2009/12/and-so-it-begins.html
Friday, December 04, 2009. And So It Begins. Maybe it's because this was my best race this year . . . maybe it's because I can't stand having no training schedule and no race calendar, even for a week . . . but this is gonna be the key race at the end of next season. October 17, 2010. Come on bloggers and Facebook friends. Let's do this thing together. Oh, I really want to do that race! Let me do some thinking about it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). TriGreyhound: So, here goes . . .
http://trigreyhound.blogspot.com/2006/03/so-here-goes.html
Friday, March 24, 2006. So, here goes . . . What does a geek do when he decides to attempt becoming a triathlete? Consult the internet, of course. Beyond triathlon focused magazines and training websites, I have been incredibly entertained by the Tri-Geek Kahuna and so inspired and motivated by his compatriot Iron Wil. Although this is probably a mistake, I too have decided to enter the world of Tri-blogging. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Houston, Texas, United States. View my complete profile.

TriGreyhound: The Best Laid Plans
http://trigreyhound.blogspot.com/2009/12/best-laid-plans.html
Wednesday, December 02, 2009. The Best Laid Plans. You might recall how I asked Coach Kris. For advice in formulating a plan for Ironman Cozumel. He gave me great advice:. Plan A for the ideal day, Plan B for if something goes wrong, and Plan C for just getting to the finish. As it turns out, I needed all three plans just to get through the hardest Ironman course I have ever experienced in two hours slower than my unstated goal. The Swim: Plan A. Squished and crowded around the turn buoys and we were hea...

Julie, trev and lexi's life journey. Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away" photo Wildflower 2006. Friday, March 20, 2009. A day to be remembered. March 21 will always be a day to be remembered. Ten years ago, Sunday, March 21, 1999 , was the day that my Dad's life ended. I was reminded of this by a letter written by my mother that I would like to share(with her permission). Me and Dad in Highschool. Julie showing off the 80's trends. What a beautiful...
