The ups and downs of raising four young children in paradise. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. This summer we finally broke down and cut Oliver's hair. It happened while we were in Utah and I was a bit worried about how he would do. Luckily, he seemed to be ok, he was nervous but he sat in the fun car and watched something. I was also nervous cutting off his beautiful curls but thankfully his hair still had some curl. Fast forward 3-4 months and as you can see his hair was getting unruly again:.

I've been kind of waiting for a picture to post to make our little announcement but since I'm always the the photographer, its never gonna happen. So we are expecting baby #4, a little girl. I'm due the last week of November so right around Thanksgiving. We'll have lots to be grateful for this year! The first half of pregnancy is not so pleasant for me to put it mildly so my kids have been doing too much of this:.

Lily is halfway to one, crazy! To mark the occasion Lily decided to pop out her first tooth (lower right) and she started sitting up unassisted (mostly). Thursday, April 26, 2012. Maggie had her piano recital in early April and played two pieces. She surprised me the morning of the recital with a fully memorized piece "Wish Upon A Star." I was really proud of her and she nailed both of them in the recital. Maggie, sitting at the Steinway in the recital hall. Last weekend we headed to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. Monday, April 22, 2013. The kids love desert hiking, Maggie was up ahead and missed out on the photo op. Hiking in Millcreek Canyon with my brother and Dad. Nicholas enjoyed the Baby Bjorn and the hike. Beavers are a big problem at the river, they dam the river with logs and make a mess of the trees. Spring Break in Review. At the PCC was one of the highlights of their trip.Sam and Maggie loved the fire dancers especially. Sam found this sea slug on the rocks, he eventually let him go. I am coming back.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Not very many people can say that they were baptized on their birthday, but Samuel can. Sam enjoyed a perfect baptism day and birthday. I have no greater joy then to see that my children walk in light and truth.
