The long-term objective of this project is to identify the regulatory networks required for the development of soybean seeds and the seeds of flowering plants. Our major research goals of this project were to: (1) Use laser capture microdissection (LCM), NextGen Sequencing and GeneChip to characterize (i) mRNA sets, (ii) small RNA populations, and (iii) methylomes of major soybean and Arabidopsis.
