Last Saturday some of my new peeps from my ward invited me to go snow shoeing. We went on the Doughnut falls trail. I actually really liked it. I think it is something I can do here in the winter to get out and have fun, since I'm not one for skiing or snow boarding. So the weirdest thing happens here. There is this thing called inversion. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Seattle, Day 2 Part 2. After the Space Needle we took the monorail back over to our hotel. It was a small walk back to our hotel through Pike Place Market and the other shopping. After asking our hotel about where a good pasta place was we went to the pink door. This is a restaurant over in Pike Place Market that does not have a sign or anything indicating that it is a restaurant. It is just a pink door. The atmosphere was great and the food was good too. But as we put her in the bath and attempted to wash off the tattoo, we realized that it would be with her for at least a week. That's exactly what happened. Several baths and scrubbing sessions later it finally came off. No more Thomas on Lily's cheek. Well, it was fun while it lasted. How cool she got to have a tattoo on her face for a week! She loves to sweep, do laundry, and help load the dishwasher. I hope this continues into her teenage years. Anyway, this reminds me of a scene from her favorite movie "Enchanted", where Giselle cleans up Robert's apartment with all the animals.
