Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. Any excuse for a party on Koh Pha Ngan. Well I've heard lots about the famous Full Moon party on Koh Pha Ngan but I knew already before we came here that we would have missed the full moon date for June. But as soon as we arrived, we were given a leaflet on the up and coming Half Moon Party that is happening - soon I bet there will be a quarter moon party happening i reckon! So here we are at Koh Pha Ngan - but it took some effort and time to get here!

Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. We just got back from Rio with my sister and her family where we stayed at a top end resort right next to the Ipanema beach. And I must say without them, we would of probably have gotten lost, had our camera stolen and stayed at some dodgy hostel right next to the Favelas! So thanks for looking after us guys! Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. Making a splash at Iguacu falls. We got to see both side of this amazing natural site - Argentina and Brazil and I have to say I really liked the Argentina side as we got to get right above the Diablo's throat and see the enormous amount of water gushing down and create a double rainbow right in front of our eyes! The Brazilian side was also great as we got to see a more panoramic view of the falls with fantastic photo ops. See you soon back in UK!

Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. Last chance for a sun-tan in Florianopolis. But I guess with us being in the Southern hemisphere meant it is actually middle of Spring here in Brazil so unfortunately we only had the Sun out on the 2 of 6 days we were there. We did manage to get a tiny bit tanned - but no way near the colour of our Thailand/Malaysia days! We are now back in Sao Paulo and then off to Rio in a couple of days time! Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. Final Visas Post. in UK at least! Well that's it - all done and dusted! We've got our China visa, Thai visa and I've finished ALL of me jabs - I can't even remember how many I had but I know it was more than I wanted and hopefully will last me a life time ;-). Still need to sort out visas for Cambodia, Vietnum and Laos Brazil for me but we're going to get them while we're on the road so wish us luck for that! Visa at Thai embassy over the weekend!

Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. Well here we are in Buenos Aires after a long but very comfortable 20 hours bus journey. We had leather seats with full flat beds, i don't think i ever slept so well on any transportation let alone a bus before! Where is V and K now? V and K's lovely travel story. Yangshuo - Well worth the overnight bus trip! Kong and our lovely hotel in Mong. We headed to Shenzhen. To cross the border and enter our 2 nd. Trip of China - first up is Guilin. Which are both famous for its stunning scenery by the Li River. As previously blogged, we decided to save some money and take the 10hour plus bus trip from Shenzhen. It all sounded ok. When we booked it in Hong. Train station, thanks to V's Cantonese. The bus itself was ok.
