It was a perfect zoo day since it was overcast and breezy. Eddie's first ride on a moving animal (a bison) on the carousel. Violet rode the baboon. Notice she is wearing a leash. Yep, I am one of those. Violet...

He's such a good sport though and doesn't complain about all the fun stuff we do without him, all in the name of passing this dang bar and getting a job. What a guy. We sure do love him! Here is our little bright eyes, during one of his alert periods (which are more frequent but still less frequent than the sleep periods). Thursday, June 23, 2011.

Monday, May 17, 2010. Sorry for the cheesy title, but I just had to do it. Last Friday we went to a KC Royals baseball game to celebrate our friend Jeremy's graduation. It was Eli's first baseball game. and he loved it! I needed a place for my grappling hook. I thought so. When I was showing Justin my loot, he was pretty happy until I pulled this baby out and he goes, "Whoa, you like that purse? In a way that meant I can't believe you like that purse. Me: "Um, yeah, what's wrong with it? Life is a Journey.
