Rhymes with Javelin: On anonymity and pictures
http://rhymeswithjavelin.blogspot.com/2007/03/check-it-out.html
Friday, March 23, 2007. On anonymity and pictures. NB: This post used to be called "Check it out! I revised it to put it in my posting policy links). It's as clear to me as always that I want to keep names off the blog. This is not an anonymous blog, exactly. I'm happy for readers to know who I am and I know a lot of you in real life already. Most people who find me from comments in other blogs will already know my first name because I use it all over the place. So why not use it here? I want a binky!

http://rhymeswithjavelin.blogspot.com/2009/07/we-all-went-to-please-touch-museum.html
Thursday, July 9, 2009. I assume that even though none of it is true for A. Yes, I birthed her, but A. and I adopted her together- such being the ins and outs of same-sex parenthood. Hunh indeed, and interesting how the museum surroundings got you to see that. Ive never birthed or nursed, as you know; I think if I were to identify the radical disruption of motherhood it would be about time, not physicality, or about emotional intensity. I wonder what A. would identify here? July 9, 2009 at 10:52 PM.

Da Blogosphere: March 2010
http://dirtycycles.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 10. March came in like a lamb. The first week was great! Temperatures climbed to 50. Spring was in the air. Then the snow came. Should be a pretty stormy month. Only a month and a half left though, then spring. At least for me. I can't wait to be sitting in the tropics, in a country where they don't speak English, and the food is fresh and cheap! But I regress. Here the sun starts to make its morning appearance. I think we all slept very well that night. Thanks again mom and dad! The win...

Da Blogosphere: VIVA LA MEXICO
http://dirtycycles.blogspot.com/2009/05/viva-la-mexico.html
Wednesday, May 6. We started our trip in Tulum, after a short bus ride from Cancun. This is where we stayed for a few nights. It was a nice and quiet place, had a bar with swings and nice matresses on the beach. Needless to say after not recieving sun for 8 months my skin got fairly burned and I spent the second day mostly under shade. The ruins were nice. There were not so many people, and we could climb to the top of the temples. They have cruise ship tourists here, but they book them on differ...Tellu...

Rhymes with Javelin: The letter I just wrote to the junior senator from my state
http://rhymeswithjavelin.blogspot.com/2009/12/letter-i-just-wrote-to-junior-senator.html
Friday, December 4, 2009. The letter I just wrote to the junior senator from my state. This is a duplicitous response. The Stupak amendment is much more far-reaching than the Hyde agreement and the Hyde agreement itself is a shameful government attempt to influence decisions best made by a woman in consultation with her doctor and family. Rhymes with Javelin: August 2009
http://rhymeswithjavelin.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 6, 2009. I am my grandfather's grandaughter. I just subscribed to The News From Lake Wobegon and This American Life. They are free. Free! I might weep over the goodness that is public radio. In other completely unrelated news, will you all keep your fingers crossed for the store? We seem to be on a little bit of a roll and I want- no, I need. It to keep on going for like, well, the rest of my working life or so. Because I really don't want to get a different job.
