Tuesday, March 31, 2015. After a quiet Christmas in Bergen. We just spent a few nights in Oslo and things were still very quiet because of Christmas. Most of the restaurants were closed and we ended up having a meal at TGIF's one night and a small pub the next. Not the best gastric experience, but I'm sure Oslo normally offers some great dining. Saturday, 20 December 2014. The first cottage Christmas. So it is nearly Christmas - the first for me in this little Victorian cottage. The last three weekends and weeknight evenings have been spent finishing off the last bout of re-decorating for the year. Consequently, there hasn't been a great deal of Christmas trimming completed. We had a typical summer week.nothing exciting but I just want to document so that I don't forget! Our house backs up to a bayou area, so we have more frogs in our yard than we ever have before. Albie loves stalking them at night. Sometimes it is hard to get him to come back inside when he is on the trail of a toad.
