Sewatdeeka Thailand

Sunday, August 15, 2010. I am finally liking India. I am now in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala, the farthest southern state of the country. I had no intention of coming here, but the British girls were coming, and seeing as I had nothing else to do, I followed. Well, as I was researching Kerala a bit, I stumbled across this ashram:. Http:/ www.sivananda.org/ndam/. So I ditched my plans with them, still headed to Kerala but for a different purpose now. Train, as key information, like the train number, ...

Sewatdeeka Thailand: April 2010

http://www.semesterinthailand.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. The pictures never materialized, I do realize that. But good news! There will be more to come, because I just got my ticket back to Thailand, this time with a stop in South Korea and India, too. We'll be visiting Charity, who was the inspiration for the trip, as she currently works there as a teacher (also my occupation - how much has changed in two years! Meris, who I'm pretty sure still gets the free flights of her choosing; Jake (! Posted by Abby Terrell.

Sewatdeeka Thailand: Bangkok

http://www.semesterinthailand.blogspot.com/2010/07/bangkok.html

Friday, July 23, 2010. At a hostel on Rambuttri Road. I am trying to read while I wait for Jake to return from getting his 30-baht haircut, but I am feeling too expressive to intake someone else's words. Jake and my first meal was at Chote Chitr, where we overate the crispy noodles, green curry, and fried fish, then topped ourselves off with our favorite street dessert of heavily buttered bread and bananas (see last post in Thailand for reference to very same meal). Sewatdeeka Thailand: January 2008

http://www.semesterinthailand.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Thai girls are so freaking cute! It's bloody hot here, and it's only going to get worse during the "summer" in March and April. There was a nice wind yesterday which made me think I could wear jeans out. Wrong. I was okay until we all decided to walk off our dinners instead of taking a cab home. After 45 minutes in the Bangkok night heat, I had to positively peel my pants off when I got home. Charity with the legendary dessert:. Some of the other funny uses of food:. Even mov...

Bman goes to Thailand: Head on Collision

http://hofertrip.blogspot.com/2008/04/head-on-collision.html

Bman goes to Thailand. Thursday, April 3, 2008. This was my second bus wreck in a week. The Monday prior I was taking a state bus to a town two hours out of Bangkok when we got rear ended and had to get off the bus. We stood on the side of the road until the next one arrived, then got on it. The Thais hardly ever take these buses, but they are very cheap and convenient to tourists. This is the waterfall that I camped at. Earawan Falls National Park. Logan feeding a bear from her mouth. I've been emailing...

I drank water that was purified with "tablets" - i still don't believe the water was purified. Me on the zipline.

Bman goes to Thailand: Flying to Thailand

http://hofertrip.blogspot.com/2008/01/flying-to-thailand_14.html

Bman goes to Thailand. Monday, January 14, 2008. I honestly didn’t expect any different the way this trip has been going so far. 12 hours later I arrived in Beijing, China. Being delayed again from San Fran I had another good feeling that I would be spending the night at another layover…and it happened. Not cool, all I could think about was where the hell am I going to sleep in this airport and why is it taking so long to get to Thailand? I shouldn’t be this hard. I’m on the plane right now, about ...

Semester In South India | Journal of My Study Abroad Experience

Semester In South India. Journal of My Study Abroad Experience. Going through my India journal and I cam across this comic that I drew in Science and Technology. It was a great favorite among my classmates so I thought I’d post it here. I drew this in Science and Technology (which could have alternately been titled “We’re All Going To Die and We’re All Going To Deserve It”) the day that we watched The Corporation. Last Technically Day in India. Wow I can’t believe it’s over. Dear President Obama,. I’m no...
