I'm not far off in age to what she must have been when it was snapped and my grin would be identical; for I too am happy, loved, and enjoying life immensely. This will most likely be me. It's Service. It's Learning. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. This will be my first hospice experience and I'm not going to lie; I'm a little apprehensive. OK, that's actually an understatement. The real truth is that I'm. T-e-r-r-i-f-i-e-d. Meeting and connecting with strangers is fraught with potential discomfort as it is. Meeting and connecting with dying. Strangers seems like discomfort on steroids. But I know that would be the coward's way out and I prefer to believe I'm not a coward.
