Monday, February 23, 2015. Most of what I've been working on can't be shown yet but, trust me, I've been a busy gal. Since I enjoy looking at old postcards, this project was right up my alley. An enterprising person got the idea to take antique postcards and print them on fabric. They provide a simple pattern and the result is a nice size wall hanging. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Rug hooking and Dallas. It's been a very busy few weeks. I began March with a fun week of rug hooking. Sally Kallin is very well known in the world of wool. I was able to get into her workshop in Eureka Springs. Here's a few of her rugs (wish they were mine! I chose to hook an autumn purse during the workshop. Thursday, November 14, 2013. Tidings of Joy Pillow. When I saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it. Snowmen make me smile and this guy is no exception. The pattern includes instruction for how to make the outer piping. It's very easy and something I plan to include on future pillows.now that I know I don't have to struggle to make piping anymore. Liberty Road quilt- - nap size. Summery and pastel flag blocks. Hand quilted with big stitch , # 12 perle cotton and a Sashiko needle. 18 light and airy blocks!
