Sew on Trend: Tine Talks: Stoffwechsel 2015 - der Schnitt
http://sewontrend.blogspot.com/2015/06/tine-talks-stoffwechsel-2015-der-schnitt.html
Now that all the other sewing ladies from #stoffwechsel are busy posting their ideas for patterns that they want to use with thei Stoffwechsel-fabric, of course I want to be part of the gang. Ich plane die Passe mit einer passenden Paspel vom vorderen Schnitteil abzutrennen und so den Schnitt noch zusätzlich ...

Sew on Trend: Tine Makes: Crochet Sandals
http://sewontrend.blogspot.com/2015/07/tine-makes-crochet-sandals.html
Tine Makes: Crochet Sandals. Lately I haven't really been making anything. I feel inspired, but I don't find the motivation to really sit down in front of my machine, copy a pattern or cut some fabric. But I found quite a joy in trying myself in crochet. I really can't stop crocheting so maybe I will finish the sandal today and then I'll definitely snap some pictures again. What have you been making lately? This is about: crochet. Sew on Trend: Tine Talks: Stoffwechsel 2015 - mein fertiges Top
http://sewontrend.blogspot.com/2015/08/tine-talks-stoffwechsel-2015-mein.html
Tine Talks: Stoffwechsel 2015 - mein fertiges Top.

Sew on Trend: Sewing
http://sewontrend.blogspot.com/p/to-sew.html
Spring/Summer 2015 Sewing Plans/Dreams/Inspiration. A military inspired khaki button-down is on my wishlist and I already found the perfect fabric at www.myfabrics.co.uk. You can't go wrong with a chambray shift dress! Is perfect for this kind of dress! A little black dress is missing in my wardrobe and with these jersey fabrics. I could easily make it myself! But then again I see these classic shapes like a boxy top and love to experiment with crazy patterns. Me Made May 2015. I swapped with Inge.

Sew on Trend: Tine Inspires: The DIY-Night In Hamburg
http://sewontrend.blogspot.com/2015/07/tine-inspires-diy-night-in-hamburg.html
Tine Inspires: The DIY-Night In Hamburg. Last weekend I got to visit a fun event for work. Three creative ladies organised a DIY-Night. In their studios in the Theodorhof in Hamburg Bahrenfeld. As the company I work for sponsored the event, I got a ticket and also met up with Ina from Pattydoo. Beforehand to talk and exchange ideas. I chose a espadrilles making workshop, braiding a Paracrod bracelet, screenprinting and origami. As I sew enough on my own already I chose not to attend a sewing workshop...

Sew on Trend: Tine Talks: Stoffwechsel 2015 - mein Stoff
http://sewontrend.blogspot.com/2015/06/tine-talks-stoffwechsel-2015-mein-stoff.html
Tine Talks: Stoffwechsel 2015 - mein Stoff. Therefore I had to take pictures with my smartphone, which are of a mediocre quality, but better than nothing!

Backstitch Baby: Giving a Plaid Skirt Some Punch
http://backstitchbaby.blogspot.com/2010/12/giving-plaid-skirt-some-punch.html?spref=bl
Sunday, December 19, 2010. Giving a Plaid Skirt Some Punch. If it wasn't for Thrift (second-hand) stores, I might just sink into a Post-Yard Sale Season depression. I do love a good deal. I found this beauty recently. Not so flattering, eh? Yep, it's a full-length, red plaid, wrap around skirt.about 2 sizes too big. Believe it or not, the fact that it reminded me of a blanket actually was a selling point for me (it's cold here in Michigan! And a quick flip and stitch to keep that edge from raveling.

Gertie's New Blog for Better Sewing: Twirl! (First Draping Project)
http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/2010/06/twirl.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Circle skirt horsehair braid. Windy day = AWESOME twirling. This is my very first pattern that I designed and draped myself. I've been studying draping with my fantastic teacher Sharon and have learned so much - and now I'm seeing the fruits of my labors! Since this was my first real draping project, I stuck with a simple 50s-inspired design: boatneck, French darts, low v-neck in the back, and a circle skirt. You can see how the horsehair braid shapes the hem here. The dress is lov...
