My Adventures into Learning to Quilt. My first 2 completed quilts! Not meant to finish. Laquo; My Adventure Begins! September 24, 2011. The first machine I bought is this Brother EX660. It is a really simple plain sewing machine, although it does have a selection of fancy stitches. The one feature that I love on this machine is the needle up or down button. You almost never need to touch the turn on the end of the machine! However like my old foe, this too, fights me on the tension.
