Monday, April 4, 2011. I like the hunger games a lot. It was interesting and easy to get into. I enjoyed how katniss, didn't just try and survive but also fought the game makers. it made the book interesting and thought provoking. I'm not sure if it really relates to the other readings other than an out of this time setting and odd reason for fighting society. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blog Ten: Opened Eyes. I would love to hear more about what your experiences would entail or perhaps why mankind isnt designed for seclusion. February 13, 2011 at 3:14 PM. I agree with you quote i think that humans arent supposed to live completely secluded for long periods of time. i do feel like having interactions with other people is definitely an essential part of developing and keeping social life. The Lit Pit: In the End
http://a-bit-of-lit.blogspot.com/2011/04/in-end.html
Monday, April 25, 2011. I also thought that the class had a great mix of classics and modern books. I was glad I finally read 1984, and F*451 (even though I found 1984 pretty slow), and I thought Feed and Hunger Games were great, I recommended both to people I know who read a lot, and I also read the rest of the Hunger Games series. April 26, 2011 at 9:28 AM. I think your right, by doing the reading a lot has been accomplished for our eyes to open. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The End is Near.

The Lit Pit: Hunger Games
http://a-bit-of-lit.blogspot.com/2011/04/hunger-games.html
Friday, April 1, 2011. I was very impressed by Hunger Games, it held my attention, it was exciting, and I actually ordered the next two books right after I finished. I found my favorite parts where when Katniss actually fought. When she had to defend herself and Peeta at the end, when she avenged Rues death, and even when she shot the apple out of the pig's mouth because she was frustrated with the game makers. The Lit Pit: Burning Books
http://a-bit-of-lit.blogspot.com/2011/04/burning-books.html
Friday, April 8, 2011. I don't think a world without books could exist, books are the original form of story telling, they inspire thought, creativity, and imagination. A world without books is a world without free thought. Where would information come from if not from what has been written down. April 9, 2011 at 9:21 AM. Yeah, if there ever was a world without books it would be very devastating to say the least. April 11, 2011 at 8:11 AM. April 11, 2011 at 12:21 PM. April 12, 2011 at 5:29 AM.

Saturday, February 19, 2011. February 20, 2011 at 12:11 PM. I agree with your statement about howhard it would be to just jump right back into the newly advanced technology world. Im sure i would find myself flustered at the new technology. February 20, 2011 at 4:06 PM. They have no idea where their food comes from and they have no idea where their trash goes. Friday, February 25, 2011. In our society today i do believe that we have lost our privacy, not only from a person standpoint but our identities. are essentially in the hands of everyone. in a way i believe we have lost our right to privacy but could we blame it on the technology today? Privacy still does exist. in our homes but what would you rather want be safe in you home or have all of you credit card numbers, birth certificates,. SS numbers in the hands of other people?
