Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Today was quite a day. We first woke up and got ready to go to the Metrodome to get flu shots. After we showered we noticed more backup in our kitchen sinks, which didn't make any sense to us considering we hadn't used any water in the kitchen for almost a day. Saturday, November 22, 2008. Today is a preschool day and Derrick seems to really love it! He walks in there no problem lately. It's great. Derrick is really loving choosing his own movies for his own DVD player and own chair and own area. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Today Derrick rediscovered his trucks that we have put in the entry closet a few weeks ago. He was so cute going everywhere on his train and crashing all the cars. Friday, November 28, 2008. Thanksgiving is here and I'm so excited for our Thanksgiving feast! We had one downer, Rick grills the turkey and it was really windy out today, so the turkey took a lot longer to cook than anticipated. But once it was cooked it was great! Jan came over and visited for a little while this evening and Derrick was very excited to see her! He showed off as usual! Saturday, November 22, 2008. We went to see Madagascar 2 and it was a great movie and most importantly, Derrick did extremely well! I'm so proud of him. He sat in that theater for about 2 hours. He ate popcorn almost the entire time too! Derrick has had this thing with playing on the couch with the pillows. It kind of drives me crazy, but he loves it so what can I do? Annette K A Mc. Monday, November 17, 2008. Today was Twins Family Fun Day at the Metrodome! It was so much fun! We could tell Derrick really missed going to the Metrodome! He was running around all over the place, throwing balls and having a blast. It was a really good time. He fell asleep on the way home and I tried to do the "transfer" but it didn't work. Monday, November 17, 2008. Today we went to the Albertville Premium Outlets to do a little shopping. We didn't really need stuff, it was just something to do. We had a lot of fun. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Today was a typical Sunday. The only thing we did is go to brunch. Derrick actually did fantastic. We had some tricks we used so that he wouldn't ask for suckers. It worked and we are sure glad it did. We came home and all took a nap. I woke up so groggy that I had to get another workout in and that helped a ton. Friday, November 28, 2008. Today after we dropped Derrick off for preschool Rick and I both admitted that we didn't feel like going to workout. So we decided to go "window" shopping, although we actually did enter the stores. It was so weird. We felt like we were playing hookie or something. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Today Rick had to go to the ballpark for a little while. We all got up early for our family. We all got a good start to the morning, which is really nice. Here's something new for the day.Derrick had his first Happy Meal today! And, he actually ate some of it. After lunch we went to the Madagascar website and printed out a bunch of coloring pages for Derrick. He loved watching the papers come out of the printer! Annette K A Mc.
