A couple of weekends ago I took Holly to her first concert, and it was also the first time we had been to wembley stadium. Its was an amazing day, with 6 and a half hours of great acts, including my favourite (pitbull) and Holly's favourite (The Wanted). Definitely a day to remember. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Over the christmas holidays I tidied and sorted the boxes of embroidery thread that were my grandads as I've been using them more and more. It's lovely to make use of them, and lots of the little cards have his handwriting on. I also had lots of fun with Holly in the haberdashery choosing lots and lots of new colours to fill them up, this is one of the boxes. Umbrella prints trimmings competition. I've been seeing references to this competition. This time last week we were in Disneyland Paris, a quick two day visit that was brilliant. As you can see we got into the spirit of things and painted mickey mouse silhouettes on our nails, I know the photo is rubbish but its the best one I got before Hollys had to come off for school. Umbrella prints trimmings competition 2012. My entry is finished! After looking at the collection of trimmings I was sent for a l-o-n-g time, and then spending more time thinking and pondering, I decided to go with something a bit different.
