Award : No Award. A mask reveals more than the face. August 9, 2015. August 9, 2015. In response to Daily Post’s Daily Prompt: Obstacle Course. Warning: This post is low on humor content and does not take responsibility for any lack of induced laughs. It , however, does take complete responsibility for the laughs it will induce. I have been asked to think about the week that was and check to see if I accomplished the thing(s) I wanted to. As daunting as the task may seem to me I choose to write about it.

Story, Story…Story. This is not fiction. The Making of the Word. February 3, 2016. The stories are beginning to stir…they’ve been on mute for too long. Silenced by fears, worries and everyday cares. They are rising from the dungeons of abandonment; they’ll soon be here…. December 1, 2015. How does it work, this etiquette on Twitter? How long do I have to follow you before I tweet you? Story, Story…Story. This is not fiction. The Making of the Word. Mami-Wọta Made My Hair [III]. June 18, 2015. The first incident took place when I was three years old. My grandmother and seven aunties wanted to prepare a feast to mark my third year on earth. My mother refused, bluntly. Because she loved my father and was able to deal with their noise more than he could. She allowed them the first year to gloat, to joy, to make merry while she and my father sat with quiet smiles at the feasting table.
