Wednesday, June 1, 2011. We are in Texas for the summer. It has been a lot different from home but we have already met so many great people and made some new friends. The kids love that we have a pool where we are staying but miss being able to roam free back home on the farm and so do I. Every other week we have been going to see Bradley's Uncle and Aunt. They are some of the nicest people and our kids get a long well with their grand kids. And then of course the pool. We spend lot's of our time here.

I must say that I was impressed - I could tell that a lot of work went into the presentations and I was glad I got to see them. There were many I enjoyed, like BigDog and the carbon (i think) speakers.I was impressed overall with what my fellow 435ers did. Great Work! I think LOTS of us did EXCELLENT work and not many people saw it =(. I think this would be a great way to solve it! And it was FUN!

I enjoyed my last sweet project so much, I really wanted to try something a little bigger. I'm not sure how smart it was to choose a white pillow with four boys and a dog on my couch, but I still really like how it turned out! Choosing the fabrics, then cutting out the pieces to assemble on the background. Took me the better part of a day.but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
