Monday, April 1, 2013. Happy April Fools Day. I have no tricks to play on you today, just fun decorating to share. I head to Santa Cruz tomorrow for Spring Break so hopefully I will find something fun to post about from there. I have been scouting out Thrift Stores and Antique Stores online in the Santa Cruz area, so hopefully I find some treasures. It is simple and clean. I added jute twine to some of the plates just to add a little interest. I found most of the plates at Homegood's and Marshall's.

Thursday, June 20, 2013. While I am awaiting my own renovations I helped out a friend. She needed a bedroom restyle. She had a ton of great stuff, we just needed to pull it all together. She made herself an amazing headboard out of pocket doors. Very cool. All she had to do was distress them a little. So here is what we ended up with. Beautiful, crisp white bedding from Target. All of the accessories she had and they have some sentimental element. That makes the space even more personal and special.
