About the Village of Glandford. The rebuilding of Glandford church began on 17 October 1899 and was completed on 30 August 1906. The reconstruction was a careful restoration of the earlier building, which was mainly thirteenth century with a fifteenth-century arcade and north aisle. As the Museum is run as a Registered Charitable Trust there is a modest entrance charge of 50p per child. There are no charges for teachers and accompanying adults. Please contact the curator Wendy Gill for more information and to arrange your visit:. All schools are warmly welcomed and given an introductory talk by the curator Wendy Gill.
